Wine Buffet!

Friday night Mel came home from work with some very exciting news: there's a wine buffet at the COEX mall! A co-worker had provided her with this powerful information and it didn't take long for us to drop all plans and hop on a bus to go check this business out.

The buffet is at Blush Bar in the Intercontinental Hotel and it's only 24,000 Won from 6pm-9pm daily. I was surprised at the low price given that Bliss has the only food menu I've ever seen that featured an item priced at over $700. It was a very nice place!

I was kind of hungry but there was only a few small salads and jars of pickled things at the buffet table so I was a little bummed about that. However, a few minutes after we sat down we were given a 3-tier tower of steak, wings and spring rolls to snack on. Nice!

There were some fancy cakes brought out occasionally and we tried all of them. A few times. The all-you-can-drink wine bar consisted of a few choices each of champagne and red and white wine. Pretty fun, especially for the price, but this deal is for happy hour only. They hide the booze at 8:30 sharp! Guess who topped off their glass 8:29-ish :P
