A Tribute to The Psycho Bitches of Cinema

If there is one genre I truly love,  it would have to be the deranged psycho/victim-never-saw-it-comin’ kill fest. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, or as Chicago put it, “He had it comin’”.  I will warn you now: there are a lot of SPOILERZ up in here.

My Top Five Crazy Bitches

1. Norma Desmond - Sunset Blvd.
She is the ULTIMATE.

2. Alex Forrest - Fatal Attraction
"I won't be ignored, Dan"

3.  Carrie
Need i say more? (besides that we should have seen Columbine coming)

4. Baby Jane Hudson - Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

5. Joan Crawford - Mommy Dearest
"NO WIRE HANGERS, EVERRRRRRRR!!!"

SOOOO many to choose from, here are some:

Ellen Berent - Leave Her to Heaven

Mrs. Danvers - Rebecca

Norman Bates - Psycho

Annie Wilkes - Misery

Madison Bell - Swimfan (or Swimf@n)
good shit:

Esther - Orphan
Not even M.Night Shyamalan would try and pull of this twist:

AND OF COURSE,
Lisa - OBSESSED
Probably one of the finest uses of suspense since Hitchcock:

When searching for a classic movie involving a psycho, look out for ones where the unsuspecting family lives in a modern glass house. This lets us know in advance that our crazy bitch is going through a window.
